Surat: In a tragic incident near Gujarat’s Surat, a dumper truck ran over a group of labourers, asleep over a pavement, crushing them to death instantly.

The incident took place early morning near Kosamba village, around 60 km from Surat, police said. While 12 labourers died on the spot, three others who were rushed to the hospital with critical injuries, died during the treatment taking the total fatalities to 15.

All the victims hailed from Rajasthan.
