Beauty radiates from within, and your skin is the first layer of defense against the outside world. The skin often reflects your overall health.

With Durga Puja 2024 just around the corner, amidst the excitement of new clothes, delicious foods, and vibrant celebrations, it’s easy to forget about skincare. This festival not only honors the triumph of goddess Durga over evil but also showcases rich culture and fashion.

To achieve that beautiful, glowing skin for the festivities, here are five eco-friendly skincare tips:

1. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water. It is essential to keep your skin hydrated and fresh. Drink at least 8 glasses a day!

2. Yogurt and Cucumber Mask: Blend yogurt or ‘Dahi’ with cucumber, apply it to your face, and let it sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water for refreshed skin.

3. Honey and Aloe Vera: Mix raw organic honey with aloe vera gel. Apply this mixture to your face and let it sit for 15-20 minutes before rinsing with cold water. This blend nourishes and hydrates.

4. Oatmeal and Milk : Combine oatmeal with milk, which contains lactic acid to exfoliate and brighten your skin. Strain the mixture, apply the liquid to your face and neck, and rinse after 10-15 minutes. Store any leftover liquid in the fridge for further use.

5. Almond Cleanser: Soak a handful of almonds in milk overnight. Grind them into a smooth paste, adding cream for extra hydration. Apply this mask to your face and neck for 15-20 minutes before rinsing.

Let your skin shine this Durga Puja, celebrating both beauty and sustainability!
