Digital Desk: Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu denies news that the AHSEC ‘Chemistry’ paper has been leaked. He calls it ‘fake news’ and rumours.

“The news of the Chemistry question paper leak in the current HS examination is completely fake and baseless. I have personally checked the matter,” Pegu wrote in a tweet.

“We are taking utmost care and maintaining vigilance. Please don’t heed fake news and rumours”, he added.

Along with the tweet, Ranoj Pegu attached an official release by AHSEC’s Pankaj Borthakur that also claimed the same.

However, the Council did not address the handwritten notes which were the exact replicas of the main question paper. Students had access to that hours before their examinations.
