Sanober Baig is challenging major production organisations for plagiarism, including Alt Balaji, Endemol Shine, and MX Player, and has even gone to the Supreme Court of India.

Digital Desk: Hyderabad Civil Court issued an order against Ekta Kapoor's reality show 'Lock Upp' following conducting a trial and reviewing the records of petitioner Abdul Haleem Baig AKA Sanober Baig. Baig, in its plea, claimed the ownership of the concept of the Jail, which was shown in Lock Upp. So as a consequence, an FIR has been filed against Ekta Kapoor.

Sanober Baig is challenging major production organisations for plagiarism, including Alt Balaji, Endemol Shine, and MX Player, and has even gone to the Supreme Court of India. According to sources, the Hyderabad police have started investigating the matter after the FIR had been filled and could be in Mumbai for arrest.

For the time being, the Hyderabad Court has barred AltBalaji, MX Player, and Endemol Shine from airing the show on any electronic medium, OTT platform, social media, or other platforms.

Notably, Lock Upp is getting closer to its grand finale, which will air on MXPlayer and ALTBalaji on Saturday (May 7) at 10.30 pm. Kangana Ranaut, the show's host, will reveal the winner.

Before the finale, the creators have scheduled a special episode for Thursday, May 5. Reports said that Tejasswi Prakash would play the jail warden with jailer Karan Kundrra in the episode. The finalists and ex-contestants of Lock Upp will also perform in this episode.
