Digital Desk: An engagement is said to have broken out on Sunday evening between Assam Rifles troopers and suspected NSCN insurgents near Khonsa in Arunachal Pradesh's Tirap district.
The fight is said to have started in a hamlet called Kaapu near Khonsa, the district seat of Arunachal Pradesh's Tirap district.

However, it is unknown to which group of the NSCN the rebels belonged.
According to accounts, the altercation began about 6 p.m. on Sunday.
So yet, no casualties or injuries have been recorded on the part of Assam Rifles as well as NSCn militants.
