Digital Desk: Today, multiple exit polls have projected a decisive victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Assam Assembly elections, indicating a strong mandate for the ruling alliance.
According to an exit poll by Axis My India, the NDA is expected to win between 88 and 100 seats in the 126-member Assembly, comfortably crossing the majority mark.
Other agencies have also released similar projections. The Peoples Pulse survey estimates the BJP to secure 68–72 seats, while the Indian National Congress is likely to win 22–26 seats. Its allies, including the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), are projected to win 7–10 seats, and the Bodoland People's Front (BPF) 8–9 seats.
The VoteVibe exit poll predicts BJP+ securing 90–100 seats, while Congress+ is expected to get 23–33 seats. The All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) is projected to win 0–6 seats, with no seats for others.
