Serious allegations of mistreatment and abuse have been raised against the center.
The Assam Rehab Association has lodged a formal complaint at the Dispur Police Station, accusing the center's proprietor of assaulting female patients.
Reports claim that the accused engages in drug use, becomes intoxicated during nighttime hours, and physically abuses the patients.
Additionally, specific allegations have been made against a male staff member for assaulting women at the facility.
Distressed patients reportedly contacted the Assam Rehab Association during nighttime hours to report the abuse they endured.
Prag News has also obtained a call recording from the victims, shedding light on their anguish.
In response to the complaint, the Dispur Police launched an investigation into the rehabilitation center to address these grave accusations.
