Digital Desk: A total of 30 contestants for the 59th Femina Miss India 2023 Grand Finale landed in Imphal, Manipur, on Friday.
The Femina Miss India 2023 pageant, which is hosted by the Manipur Tourism Department and co-presented by VLCC & Trends, will be held on April 15 at the Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium in Imphal.
For the first time ever, the Femina Miss India grand finale will take place in the Northeast region.
On arrival at the airport, the contestants received a hearty traditional welcome and hospitality.
Extending a warm welcome to all the Femina Miss India contestants in Manipur, chief minister N Biren Singh in a tweet wrote, "Extending a hearty welcome to all the contestants of Femina Miss India to the Jewel of India, the Land of Culture, Manipur. With the Grand Finale happening here, I hope you enjoy your stay & carry the message of goodwill, friendliness, &warm hospitality of Manipur on your departure."
The contestants will compete for the prestigious crown, and the winner will represent India at the Miss World pageant.
Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar has been confirmed to co-host the Femina Miss India 2023 Grand Finale with Indian television presenter, anchor, and comedian Maniesh Paul.
Last year, The Times Group announced a collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Manipur, to host the Femina Miss India 2023 grand finale in Manipur's capital.
