It should be mentioned that on October 28, another ferry with over 100 passengers on board was left stranded in the middle of the Brahmaputra river close to Majuli. 

Digital Desk: A ferry in Majuli, Assam, got stuck mid-stream on the Brahmaputra River on Sunday, leaving more than 50 passengers stranded.

According to sources, the event occurred as the ferry was travelling from Jorhat's Nimati Ghat to Majuli.

The ferry that got stranded on the Brahmaputra was named as "Panoi."

Additionally, it has come to light that the ferry was diverted due to erosion at Kamalabari.

It became stranded on the way back with more than 50 people inside.

It should be mentioned that on October 28, another ferry with over 100 passengers on board was left stranded in the middle of the Brahmaputra river close to Majuli. 

On the ship, there were also 40 motorcycles, eight automobiles, and passengers.

The ferry, which was scheduled to depart at 8 am, left at 9 am due to the heavy fog. However, it became stuck in the middle of the river after leaving the Aflamukh ferry ghat.
