A total of 14 flights bound for Kolkata have been cancelled, causing disruptions to travel plans for passengers across multiple airlines. 

Digital Desk: In light of the looming threat posed by cyclone 'Remal', flight services from Guwahati’s Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport to Kolkata have been promptly halted. This proactive measure is aimed at ensuring the safety of passengers amid the anticipated adverse weather conditions resulting from the cyclone's impact.

A total of 14 flights bound for Kolkata have been cancelled, causing disruptions to travel plans for passengers across multiple airlines. Among the affected flights, four are operated by IndiGo, four by Alliance Air, and one by Air India. SpiceJet's flight schedule has also been impacted, with their services among those temporarily grounded during this period.

Authorities have taken swift action to suspend flight operations as part of their proactive strategy in managing the potential risks associated with cyclone 'Remal'. Travelers are advised to remain updated with airline announcements and to exercise caution during this period of disruption.
