Digital Desk: Rishabh Pant, India's wicketkeeper-batsman, was injured on Friday when his car collided with a divider and caught fire while travelling from Delhi to Uttarakhand. He was driving his Mercedes when the accident took place near Roorkee, Uttarakhand.
Reportedly, Pant suffered head, knee, and shin injuries as a result of the collision. His leg may have fractured, and he is currently being transferred to the Max Hospital in Dehradun. People from different backgrounds went to Twitter after Pant was injured in a car accident to wish him a speedy recovery.

Pant was a member of the Indian team that defeated Bangladesh in a 2-0 Test series earlier this month. He had knocks of 46 and 93 in the first and second Tests, respectively.
He was recently withdrawn from the T20I squad announced for the series against Sri Lanka and was scheduled to join the National Cricket Academy for a strength and conditioning programme ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia in February.
