In response to the situation, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has directed the municipal corporation and administration to promptly initiate rescue and relief efforts.

Digital Desk: A sudden and tragic incident unfolded in Gujarat as a massive fire broke out at the TRP gaming zone in Rajkot, claiming the lives of 24 individuals, including children, on Saturday evening. Authorities are currently working tirelessly to contain the blaze and rescue any individuals who may be trapped inside.

In response to the situation, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has directed the municipal corporation and administration to promptly initiate rescue and relief efforts.

 "Instructions have been given to the Municipal Corporation and the administration for immediate rescue and relief operations in the fire incident in the game zone in Rajkot. It has also been instructed to prioritize arrangements for immediate treatment of the injured," Bhupendra Patel posted on X.



Yuvraj Singh Solanki is the proprietor of the gaming zone. Police Commissioner Raju Bhargava stated, "We will be filing charges for negligence and the resulting fatalities."

He added, "Further inquiries will be conducted after the conclusion of the ongoing rescue operations," as reported by ANI.

Moreover, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed his grief over the tragic incident. "Extremely distressed by the fire mishap in Rajkot. My thoughts are with all those who have lost their loved ones. Prayers for the injured. The local administration is working to provide all possible assistance to those affected," he posted on X.
