According to the woman's police complaint, the accused raped her several times since January of this year. The woman's husband works as an auto driver.

Digital Desk: In a horrifying incident reported from Gujarat's Rajkot district, a money lender repeatedly raped a 37-year-old woman after her husband failed to pay loan interest.

Not only did the accused sexually abuse the woman, but he also threatened to kill her children if she did not comply with his demands.

Deepak Vagadiya, a native of Mavdi, has been identified as the suspected loan shark. According to a story in the Times of India, the police have now arrested the accused after receiving a complaint from the rape survivor.

According to the woman's police complaint, the accused raped her several times since January of this year. The woman's husband works as an auto driver.

The victim's husband took Rs 50,000 from one Ajitsinh Chavda in 2021 and promised to pay an interest of Rs 1,500 on a daily basis.

The autodriver paid the regular interest until January. However, due to other expenses, the couple forgot to pay regular interest after a while, and so the interest amount increased over the months.

The accused Vagadiya is Chavda's friend and business partner. Vagadiya used to come to the couple's house on a regular basis and threaten them if they didn't pay the interest.

When the couple asked for extra time to pay the interest, the accused Vagadiya threatened them. He threatened to kidnap the autodriver's wife and frame him for a bogus crime.

Vagadiya allegedly went to the woman's residence one day and informed her that if her husband did not pay the money, she would have to have physical intercourse with him.
