Digital Desk: A leopard has caused terror among the residents of Guwahati's Hengrabari area.

The Assam State Zoo authorities issued a warning about this and urged residents of the residential colonies to be cautious at night. The District Forest Officer has requested that people refrain from climbing up the hill inside the zoo. He also warned parents not to leave their children alone.

The zoo authorities have also impeded people from entering the dense forest in Hengrabari.

Reportedly, leopard footprints were found on the hill, for which extreme caution has been taken.

Meanwhile, a police patrolling team has been dispatched to the area to ensure the safety of all people following the issuance of the notification by zoo management.
