During an argument regarding this, Taid showed the woman a pistol and threatened to kill her.

Digital Desk:  A man from Beharbari in Guwahati was detained on December 8 for brandishing a gun at his neighbour. Vivekananda Taid, 35, a resident of Dehal Path in the Beharbari neighbourhood of Basistha in Guwahati, has been named as the accused man. 

Speaking to a media house, the Officer-In-Charge of the Basistha Police Station said, “Taid had a conflict with his neighbour regarding a path in their residence. During an argument regarding this, Taid showed the woman a pistol and threatened to kill her. She immediately approached the Basistha Police Station and lodged an FIR.”

Taid was detained by the Basistha Police, who also found an air pistol and a single-barreled air gun in his possession.
The following day, Taid was brought before the court and given a jail sentence. More information is awaited.
