Digital Desk: A middle-aged man's body was found at the side of a road in Mirza, on the outskirts of Guwahati city under the Kamrup Rural district.
The deceased has been identified as Taniya Ali. On Monday afternoon, his body was discovered on a walkway along Mirza-Chandubi Road.
Locals were the first to find the body, and they quickly informed the police.
Although it seems that man died of natural causes, however, the exact reason for his demise has not yet been determined.
Recently, the naked body of an unidentified man was recovered from a VIP room at the BJP office in Cachar district of Assam.
According to reports, the party workers discovered the dead in a VIP room under unexplained circumstances and summoned the district party president, Bimalendu Roy, who then informed the police.
As soon as they came, the police transported the deceased to SMCH, Silchar Medical College and Hospital. The identity of the body couldn’t be ascertained.
An investigation was launched in relation to the incident.
