Digital Desk: According to reports, the Special Task Force (STF) on Tuesday in Assam arrested a drug peddler and recovered suspected heroin from his possession.
This evening, the STF Assam raided the Khanapara neighborhood of Guwahati based on specific tips. During the operation, a habitual drug peddler was caught and multiple illicit things were recovered.
The arrestee has been identified as Sapan Roy (23).
The police claimed that he is a resident of Dhubri district. He was living in the Natun Bazar region of Basistha Chariali.
The police seized a total of 18 vials containing 23.5 grams of suspected heroin, three empty plastic containers, three different wrenches, and one knife from the accused.
It is to be mentioned that further instigation into the matter is underway.
