Digital Desk: A young journalist working for an Assamese news portal, TIME8, was killed by a speeding city bus in Guwahati.
The incident occurred in the city's Beltola area.
Mustak Alam has been identified as deceased.
Mustak was on his way to work when he was hit by a speeding bus and killed on the spot at 10.30 a.m.
According to eyewitnesses, Mustak was riding his two-wheeler when the bus attempted to overtake him and hit his bike.
The CCTV footage, however, clearly shows that speeding was the cause of the accident.
Meanwhile, his body was transported to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
