Upon reviewing the footage, the Basistha Police quickly tracked down and arrested two members of the gang .
Digital Desk: A bold robbery occurred in the heart of the Guwahati city at KP Mobile Store which is located in Bhetapara. The thieves entered the mobile store at a night-time, by making a cut through the tin roof of the shop. The thieves targeted and looted at KP Mobile Store and carried out a successful operation and managed to steal 29 smartphones, including iPhones among them. All actions were recorded by CCTV cameras installed at the store.
The Basistha police viewed the security footage which led to immediate identification of two gang members named Robin Ali and Zahidul Islam. The police successfully retrieved all stolen mobile phones from the thieves to return them to the store. The fast response together with noticeable CCTV evidence helped police track the criminals which resulted in a rapid heist conclusion.
