The two eighth-grade students of Panchadeep Jatiya Vidyalaya, which is located in the Noonmati neighborhood of Guwahati, who were estimated to be between 13 and 14 years old, were reported missing on Wednesday.

Digital Desk: The two girls who went missing from the Noonmati locality of Guwahati have been successfully rescued, reports surfaced on Thursday. 

The two girls identified as Madhusmita Baishya and Bandita Bhomik, have reportedly been rescued from Tihu in the Nalbari district. 

The two eighth-grade students of Panchadeep Jatiya Vidyalaya, which is located in the Noonmati neighborhood of Guwahati, who were estimated to be between 13 and 14 years old, were reported missing on Wednesday.

But early this morning, an apparent WhatsApp conversation revealed that the duo had eloped of their own free will. They stated in the statement that they will be focusing on success for the next five years.

The note further requested that the media and police refrain from chasing them. It also said that all such endeavors will be in vain. The message's veracity's sender, however, is still unclear.

It should be mentioned that yesterday, after returning home having gone out on the occasion of Saraswati Puja yesterday, the duo again went out and did not return.
