Digital Desk: Hardik Pandya revealed the wonderful gift he received from his son on his 30th birthday ahead of the World Cup 2023 match against Afghanistan in Delhi on October 11.


Speaking before the match against Afghanistan, Hardik said that there wasn't much of a celebration, but he did reveal the gift he received from his kid. 


The all-rounder explained that it was a board created by his son just a few days before. It was a welcome surprise for Hardik before the game versus Afghanistan.


Hardik and Natasa Stankovic welcomed their first child whom they Agastya, in 2020. 


Hardik uploaded a touching video of Agastya on his 29th birthday in 2022, expressing his love for his son. He was away from home, enjoying his birthday in Australia with his teammates as they prepared for the T20 World Cup in 2022.

Despite the distance, Hardik's love for his son was clear, as he penned an emotional statement on Agastya's birthday, stating him the most lovely gift he had ever gotten.


Hardik additionally stated that he received many birthday greetings from his peers.


"There wasn't much of a celebration. When I awoke, my son had brought me a board that he had created a few days before, which was a lovely surprise. Teammates also expressed their best wishes," Hardik remarked.


The all-rounder will play an important role with both bat and ball in India's match against Afghanistan in Delhi. India will be seeking to make it two wins in a row and prepare for the battle with Pakistan.
