Digital Desk: On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited people to raise the tricolour at their residences between August 13 and August 15 in order to reinforce "Har Ghar Tiranga." Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted a message on the microblogging platform Twitter saying, "This year, while we celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, let's strengthen the Har Ghar Tiranga Movement. During the 13th through 15th of August, hoist the tricolour or display it inside your homes. We shall feel more connected to the national flag thanks to this effort.

On Twitter, Prime Minister Modi also provided updates on the formal discussions surrounding the tricolor's adoption as the country's flag and posted a photo of Jawaharlal Nehru hoisting the tricolour for the first time.

The "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign will be introduced by the government on the occasion of India's 75th anniversary of independence. From August 13 to August 15, 2022, 80 lakh national flags would be flown in Assam homes, workplaces, and commercial buildings alongside the rest of the nation.

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Program, this will be done. The goal in Assam is to reach 80 lakh rural and urban families, as well as public and private organisations, businesses, and educational institutions.
