Digital Desk: The Indian government has chosen to honour freedom heroes and mark the nation's 75th anniversary of independence. As a result, they decided to organize a number of events, and the government gave the celebration the name "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav." Amrit Mahotsav, which means "Nectar of Grand Celebration," commemorates 75 years since India gained independence from the British Raj. The general ceremonies started on March 12, 2022, and will last until August 15, 2023.

The individual states and cities of India will also celebrate the same at their local level.

The HDFC Bank, Guwahati Branch, made a commendable effort.

In preparation for the 75th Anniversary of Independence Day and Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav, HDFC Bank held a Kids Art Competition yesterday at the 10th Assam Police Battalion, Kahilapara, in the presence of Mr. Premjit Konwar, Circle Head, Northeast, HDFC Bank Ltd., and Mr. Numal Mahatta, APS Commandant.

By exposing them to local talent, this competition aimed to inspire young artists and help them improve their creative abilities. To encourage more involvement in the events that will come next, prizes have been given out during the closing ceremony of the event.
