Kullu: On a surprising note, Himachal police were on hawk-eyes after a senior IPS officer lost her expensive pen on Sunday evening. As per sources, the officer lost her pen somewhere in Dhalpur Bazar, Kullu, where she went shopping.

Following the lady officer losing her costly pen, there was a stir in the police department. Superintendent of Police, Kullu, Gurdev Sharma confirmed that it was true that the pen was missing.

"Yes, the pen was reported lost on Sunday. But why is the media giving undue publicity to this small incident? No FIR has been registered," Gurudev Sharma stated.

The lady IPS officer is presently work as the commandant of the 3rd Indian Reserve Battalion Pandoh, Mandi. She was managing a police recruitment initiative in Kullu on Sunday.

The exact cost of the pen and the brand are not certain yet. However, sources stated that the value of the pen might be around Rs 50,000.

The senior IPS lady officer did not react to the media queries.

Kullu police also scanned the CCTV footage of the area, but they could not find the pen.
