Guwahati: NEDA convener Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma paid a visit to Sualkuchi's Ishwar Shree Shree Hati Satra, taking the blessings of the Reverend Guru before heading towards his big day - for the swearing-in ceremony at Kalakshetra in Guwahati.

After Suwalkuchi, the CM elect then visited Doul Govinda temple at North Guwahati and then taking the blessings of Ma Kamakhya at Kamakhya Devalaya as well as praying for peace and well-being of the people of Assam.

Dr. Sarma visited the holy places following all covid protocols and was felicitated with gamusas and bouquets by the temple authorities.
