Guwahati: The oath-taking ceremony for the new Chief Minister of Assam is now live. The ceremony has started at the Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra, Guwahati from 12 noon. 

NEDA convener Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma went to Sualkuchi’s Ishwar Shree Shree Hati Satra, seeking the blessings of the Reverend Guru before proceeding with his big day – for the swearing-in ceremony at Kalakshetra in Guwahati.

The Governor has honored Dr. Himanata Biswa Sharma with the 'fulam gamusa' granting the authority as the Chief Minister of Assam. Sarma has taken his oath as the CM of Assam. 

The proceedings moving ahead of the oath-taking for other cabinet ministers for the state.

  5. Urkhao Gwra Brahma takes oath under the cabinet of Assam.
  6. Ranoj Pegu takes oath under the cabinet of Assam.
  7. Ajanta Neog takes oath under the cabinet of Assam.
  8. Chanda Mohan Patowary takes oath under the cabinet of Assam.
  9. Sanjay Kishan takes oath under the cabinet of Assam.
  10. Jogen Mohan takes oath under the cabinet of Assam.
