The municipal corporation has approved the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi at Idgah Ground. However, there were rules prohibiting the use of any provocative posters.

Digital Desk: On Wednesday, August 31, amid the Idgah ground conflict in Karnataka's Hubballi and Chamrajpet, people from Muslim and Hindu groups gathered together to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in Mandya District. This happened during the ongoing Idgah ground conflict.

At Beedi Colony, members of both groups gathered to worship Lord Ganesha. Beedi colony has a Muslim majority, and both populations participated in the celebrations to demonstrate solidarity.

They also took part in the pooja and ceremonies according to Hindu traditions.

Meanwhile, during the festivities at Idgah site in Karnataka's Hubbali, Sri Ram Sene Chief Pramod Muthalik and his followers were spotted waving photos of Savarkar and Bal Gangadhar Tilak.

Despite this, Ram Sene chairman Pramod Muthalik was seen in the Ganesh Chaturthi pandal clutching a photo of Savarkar and Balagangadhar Tilak. The Karnataka High Court authorized Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Idgah field in Karnataka's Hubbali on Tuesday.

The Waqf Board objected to the celebration and procession of other religions on their land, prompting the ruling.
