After ENG-W was bowled out for 68 runs, IND-W successfully chased down a modest target of 69 runs. In their chase against England Women, India lost both of their openers, captain Shafali Verma and top run-scorer Shweta Sehrawat, but Soumya Tiwari and Gongadi Trisha kept the scoreboard going. In the end, Tiwari scored the winning runs to send the Indian camp into a frenzy.
