In a similar incident, two minors, including a girl, had been missing from Kaki police station of Hojai district. They had been missing since 3 am on Saturday.

However, they were rescued safely by the Basistha police in Khanapara, hours after they disappeared.

Their disappearance prompted a swift alert from Kaki police station to Basistha police station in Guwahati.

The Basistha police immediately launched a search and rescue operation and located the minors in the Khanapara area.

They were found wandering in the area. The police brought them to the Basistha police station following the completion of all legal procedures.

Both minors wanted to go to Tamilnadu, as per report.

The Basistha police station has informed the Kaki police station to proceed with further steps in the case.

The reason behind the minors' disappearance remains unknown and authorities are inquiring about the matter.
