Digital Desk: Following the cancellation of two tests of the state board-conducted Class 10 exams within a week due to the leak of question papers, Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu stated on Friday that the entire examination system will be examined and corrected.

Acknowledging that there are "lapses in the system," he stated that the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) must identify the issues and implement corrective measures.

"We have to work together to fix it," Pegu told reporters here. The Assamese test was released days after the general science question paper for the Class 10 state board exam was leaked, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Thursday evening.

"All the Modern Indian Language (MIL) subject papers, including Alternative English, which was to be held tomorrow, have been cancelled as a precautionary action, as one of the accused revealed about leaking the Assamese question paper. SEBA will announce the new dates today," Pegu added.

On Sunday night, the general science question paper for the Class 10 matriculation exam was leaked, and the exam scheduled for Monday was cancelled as a result.

According to a SEBA announcement, the subject test will now be scheduled on March 30. The CID is investigating the incident, and several students have been arrested linked to the case.
