Dhubri/Chandigarh: An Assam girl who was trafficked to Haryana by two human trafficking agents, has been recovered by the Bilasipara Police.

The accused traffickers have been identified as Abul Kalam and Lal Chan who hail from Kazaikata Village under Bilasipara Sub-Division of Dhubri district.

The victim hails from a village under the same Sub-division.

As per reports, the girl, who is 20 years old, was trafficked three months ago and sold in Haryana for Rs one lakh ten thousand.

Based on secret information, a five-member team of police personnel from Naer-Alga police station along with the Bilasipara police station proceeded to Adampur Mandi village of Haryana on Sunday and successfully managed to rescue the girl.
