Digital Desk: In Jorhat, a mother of two children run away with her boyfriend, prompting her husband to attempt suicide on Friday. Mohammad Shabir Hussain, a native of Jorhat's Dhakaipatti village, was identified as the deceased.
According to reports, the victim's wife and daughter went missing during the first week of January. Shabir's wife met a man on Instagram and developed a strong relationship with him, according to relatives of the dead.
The man is suspected of kidnapping the wife and her daughter.

The relatives of the dead Shabir Hussain filed a complaint at the Jorhat Police Station.
"We filed an FIR at the Jorhat police station," stated a family member of Shabir Hussain.
Though authorities had already begun searching for the missing woman, the call from the woman to her family members complicates the situation.
The police and the woman's family are unsure if she was kidnapped or ran away with her boyfriend.
