London: Casie continues to lick the contents from the urn carrying her husband’s ashes. Her weird addiction has shocked her relatives and friends who have expressed concerns over Casie’s mental health.

Casie, a 26-year-old woman from the UK has said she eats her late husband’s ashes and also takes them everywhere she goes. Casie married Sean in 2009 but tragically lost him to a fatal asthma attack. Since then, she decided to carry his ashes everywhere she went. She even spoke about her bizarre habit on TLC’s ‘My Strange Addiction’.

"I take my husband everywhere, to the grocery store, shopping, to the movies, out to eat, anywhere I go he goes. I take my husband everywhere, to the grocery store, shopping, to the movies, out to eat, anywhere I go he goes," she said.

However, people were taken aback when she admitted that she also eats the ashes. Not just that, she said she ‘can’t stop eating’ the ashes.

"I didn't want to wipe him off, that's my husband I didn't want to wipe him away so I just licked him off my fingers. And here I am today almost two months later and I can't stop, I'm eating my husband," added Casie

It's not possible to eat ash like normal food. Casie says she just nibbles on the ashes five to six times a day.

Her strange behavior has left everyone stunned. People have even suggested Casie to consult a doctor for her strange addiction.

Casie’s addiction for tasting her late husband’s ashes was first featured in TLC a decade ago. Her story is once again doing the rounds of social media platforms, surprising netizens alike.
