Reacting to the CAA, Garg, who led the movement said that he did not want to say anything on the issue, but said that he was anti-CAA and still opposes it...

Digital Desk: Zubeen Garg's stand on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has been questioned frequently. Now putting an end to all the mysteries, Zubeen has opened up about the CAA movement after a long time. Reacting to the CAA, Garg, who led the movement said that he did not want to say anything on the issue, but said that he was anti-CAA and still opposes it.

"I was at the helm of the 'CAA' movement. I am still there. After I fell ill, I came back and saw that there was no one. I, Samujjal da, and there were only two. At that time, the whole scenario of politics had changed. If the whole thing remains politics. So, I still feel sad – why did we work so hard?"

Zubin Garg added, "Last time there was too much about 'CAA'. I didn't think that would have happened. I apologize for that today. But that's not the case this time. I'm still there. Now it's Samujjal Da and I who are there. This time there is no such contradiction. There are many ways to protest. I will protest on social media this time. Because everything is digital these days. ’’

It is to be noted that Zubin Garg made this comment while talking to media at the launch of a song titled 'Varsha'.
