Digital Desk: Assam's Elvis Ali Hazarika popular for his Swimming records, had once again made his name appear in the headlines on Wednesday, 13th December 2023 by becoming the first Assamese to successfully swim (Solo Swim) from Elephanta Island Jetty to the Gateway Of India Arabian Sea, Mumbai.
Announcing his achievement through a message, he said, "With a lot of Hardwork, I have finally become the first Assamese to successfully swim from Elephanta Island Jetty to the Gateway Of India Arabian Sea (Solo Swim). It was a very difficult task as i swam along with pretty big sized fish and a lot of jelly fish. It was extremely tiring, the swim, overall."
"This is a dream come true for me, and also the people of Assam. JoiAaiAxom" He further added.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on his X handle wished him for accomplishing this feat.
