This is the second time the BCCI has chosen to distribute tickets for India's fixtures less than a week in advance...

Digital Desk: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has stated that tickets for the forthcoming group encounter between India and Sri Lanka will be available one week before the game.

Additionally, on October 26 after 12 PM IST, fans can purchase tickets for the important India vs Sri Lanka group encounter, which is set to take place at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium on November 2.

Interestingly, this is the second time the BCCI has chosen to issue tickets for India's fixtures only a week before the game.

Previously, the BCCI announced the sale of tickets for India's matches against Pakistan and Bangladesh after numerous matches, including the IND versus AUS match, saw unoccupied seats despite ticket purchasing applications stating that the matches were fully booked.

India is currently the top-ranked team in the World Cup points table, with the only undefeated record in the tournament with five victories in five matches.

Following their match against England, the next stop on their itinerary will be a match against Sri Lanka on November 2 at the legendary Wankhede Stadium.
