Digital Desk: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted fairly widespread to widespread light or moderate rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall for Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on October 3 and 4.

Early on Monday, there were scattered, moderate to heavy showers around the city, resulting in a daytime low of 28 degrees Celsius. In some areas of the city, there is a 97% chance of experiencing heavy rain mixed with thunderstorms and lightning. The temperature is predicted to drop to 25 degrees at night as the day cools off by another degree.

On Monday, Gangetic West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are all likely to see heavy rains in isolated areas.

Over West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, thunderstorms, and lightning are possible in isolated locations.

On October 4, isolated areas of Gangetic West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are anticipated to suffer significant rains. On Tuesday, thunderstorms with lightning are anticipated over West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura (October 4).

Over Gangetic West Bengal, light to moderate rain with a few isolated heavy rains is extremely possible from October 3 to 4.
