Digital Desk: The circle officer's body, which had been missing since the boat tragedy on the Brahmaputra River in the Dhubri District of Assam, was discovered on Sunday.

 A Circle Officer named Sanju Das was discovered dead not far from the scene of the incident.

Notably, a boat in the Brahmaputra capsized on September 29 while carrying 29 passengers.

The boat lost control because of the swift currents of the river, which led to the catastrophe.

After the incident, the SDRF initiated search and rescue operations to locate the missing victims.

As per reports, the engineer employed by L&T Company prevented Sanju Das from using the bridge and compelled him to use the boat.
