After being detained in connection with the Al-Qadir Trust case, Imran Khan's urine was collected at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad.

Digital Desk: Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan, is in more trouble after a medical examination conducted while he was being held in custody for corruption revealed cocaine and alcohol use.

This information was provided by Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel during a press conference on the five-doctor panel's medical report on the former prime minister. Imran Khan, who already faces more than 100 cases, will face more legal action if confirmed.

After being detained in connection with the Al-Qadir Trust case, Imran Khan's urine was collected at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad. The usage of "toxic chemicals" including "alcohol and cocaine" was found in the initial medical report, according to the health minister.

Abdul Qadir Patel asserted that Imran Khan's mental reliability was in doubt and that the government will release the medical report. He claimed that the ex-PM made an "inappropriate gesture" and that his behaviour was not that of a "fit man."

On May 9, Imran Khan was detained by the paramilitary Pakistan Rangers in connection with a corruption case while he was on the grounds of the Islamabad High Court, which led to protests throughout the nation. Khan, who was forced from office last year, has always been granted protection bail against arrest. He was later released on bail.

Imran Khan has previously been accused of abusing drugs. Reham Khan, his ex-wife, claimed to have seen the PTI leader snorting cocaine.

"The typical day's cocktail would generally consist of half an ecstasy tablet and one or two lumps of coke, followed by two to three sedatives at night," Reham Khan had stated.
