Digital Desk: An 18-year-old Texas teenager was arrested for killing his own family "because they were cannibals" and "were going to eat him," according to investigators. According to The New York Post, Cesar Olalde has been charged with the killings of his parents and two siblings, including a five-year-old brother.

On Tuesday, officers received information about a man threatening to kill himself and causing harm to his family. According to the Associated Press, they discovered Cesar Olalde locked inside a home and were told that numerous individuals were killed inside. The cops then took the guy into custody.

According to Nash Police Officer Craig Buster's probable cause statement, Olalde later called police and stated that "he had pulled the trigger and shot his family." Olalde was convinced to surrender by the officers.

 According to the affidavit, "it appeared as if the victims had been shot at various locations throughout the residence and drug to the bathroom." "Multiple spent cartridge casings" were discovered on the home's floor, as well as "blood spatter on multiple surfaces," according to the report.

When Lisbet Olalde failed to show up for work, a coworker went to her house and was approached by the suspect, who pointed a revolver at him. According to Bowie County court documents, the suspect is being jailed on a $10 million bail.

Robert Ward, a neighbour, characterized the victims as a "beautiful family" of "extremely nice" and "hardworking people."
