Sen won the crucial rallies and gave India back-to-back badminton gold after PV Sindhu won the women’s final. India now has 21 gold medals, moving them up to fourth place in the CWG 2022 Medals tally.

Digital Desk: Almora’s Lakshya Sen has made India proud by winning the Men’s Badminton Singles Gold by beating Tze Yong of Malaysia 19-21, 21-9, 21-12. Sen did remarkably well by winning the last two sets in a cliffhanger of a game at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.

Tze Yong, however, was brilliant on occasion, but in the end, it was the monk-like calmness of Lakshya Sen that prevailed.
