Digital Desk: At the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the fourth Test match between Australia and India is now in action. Political figures from both nations joined the two teams and the cricketing community to kick off the opening day of the Test. The event was honoured by the presence of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who joined the two teams in the middle.

This momentous event served as a tribute to the power of sports to unite people despite their differences and across political boundaries. The two leaders' attendance gave the occasion a certain air of grandeur, making it a truly unforgettable experience for everyone there.

In a single frame, a picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, captain Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli has surfaced. Before the start of the fourth Test, the two illustrious members of Team India are seen lining up with PM Modi to sing the national song.

Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, formally introduced his squad to Prime Minister Modi before the start of the match. The Prime Minister kindly greeted each Indian cricket player separately, drawing thunderous applause from the large crowd. When Rohit presented the former India captain, Virat Kohli, and the Prime Minister extended his hand in greeting, the crowd's excitement reached a peak.

Speaking of the game, despite the tournament's predominance of spinners, Steve Smith won the toss and opted to bat first on what appeared to be the most beneficial surface yet. The Indian XI saw Mohammed Shami take Mohammed Siraj's position, but the Australian team remained unchanged.

India presently has a 2-1 advantage in the series. The hosts must, however, win the last Test handily to get to the ICC World Test Championship final. Beginning on June 7 in London, the championship will be held.
