Rohit hit the milestone in just 82 balls as India made a spectacular start after New Zealand won the toss and decided to field first, with the opening duo putting on a 200-run partnership.
With this milestone, Rohit now has 30 ODI centuries to his name. This places him joint third on the list of players with the most ODI tons, behind Ricky Ponting, who also got 30 ODI tons. Rohit is only behind Sachin Tendulkar (50) and Virat Kohli (46) among the list of players with the most tons in the 50-over format in history.
