Digital Desk: The Rohit Sharma-led team crushed their arch-rivals by seven wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday, extending Team India's fantastic performance in the 2023 World Cup and their unbreakable record versus Pakistan in the 50-over game.

After the game, batting superstar Sachin Tendulkar, who played in three of India's eight World Cup wins over Pakistan, blasted his old adversary Shoaib Akhtar, who had written a message for the Babar-led side before the game.

Akhtar had advised the team to approach with a calm and cool mentality by sharing a picture from one of his previous clashes with the Indian team, which featured Sachin. He stated, "Kal agar asa kuch kerna hai, toh #ThandRakh."

On Saturday, Sachin gave a savage reply, "My friend, aap ka advice follow kiya aur sab kuch billlkoool THANDA rakha"

With the decisive victory over Pakistan, India now leads the points table with three victories in three matches. They had previously defeated five-time champions Australia and Afghanistan. Their next encounter will be against Bangladesh in Pune on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pakistan remains in fourth place.
