Desk: With 16,678 new instances reported on Monday, India had an 8% decrease in
daily Covid cases compared to the previous day, bringing the total to
43,639,329. The country reported 18,257 cases as of Sunday. The official death
toll now stands at 52,5454, according to the union health ministry, which
reported a total of 26 deaths across the nation during the past 24 hours.
According to the most recent health bulletin, 14,629
persons have recovered in the past 24 hours, with a recovery rate of 98.50
percent.

administered to people aged 15 to 18. People over 60, healthcare professionals,
and frontline workers have all received more than 4.30 crore booster shots as a
precaution.
