Digital Desk: India continues to record Covid-19 cases. According to Union Health Ministry data, India recorded 2,55,874 fresh Covid-19 cases in a single day. This single-day number has taken the overall caseload to 3,97,99,202.
Moreover, the casualty toll has risen to 4,90,462 with 614 daily fatalities. On the other hand, the health ministry stated that active cases have dropped to 22,36,842 and contain 5.62% of the overall infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has dropped to 93.15 %.
A drop of 12,493 Covid-19 cases has been registered in 24 hours. According to the health ministry, the day-to-day positivity rate was registered at 15.52 %, while the weekly positivity pace was 17.17 %.

The number of individuals who have recovered from the infection grew to 3,70,71 898, while the case fatality pace was registered at 1.23 %, it stated.
So far, the accumulative vaccine doses distributed in the nation are over 162.92 crores. The nation passed two crore cases on May 4 and three crore cases on June 23, 2020.
