According to ministry data, India's active caseload is currently 2,706, with a daily positive rate of 0.17 percent.


Digital Desk: According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Sunday, the country registered 265 new cases of Covid-19 in the previous 24 hours.


It was also announced that 1,209 Covid cases had been recovered in the previous 24 hours, raising the recovery percentage to 98.8 percent.


According to ministry data, India's active caseload is currently 2,706, with a daily positive rate of 0.17 percent.


According to the government, a total of 220.10 crore vaccine doses had been delivered, including 95.13 crore second doses and 22.40 crore precautionary doses. In the last 24 hours, 64,239 dosages were delivered.


After the Central Government made an RT-PCR test mandatory for international passengers arriving from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand, and encouraged people to follow Covid appropriate behaviour, airport visitors demonstrated awareness of the ongoing global surge of Corona cases and were found willing to cooperate.


In addition to the random 2% tests administered to all international passengers upon arrival in India, regardless of port of departure, all international passengers travelling from these six countries to India will be required to undergo mandatory RT-PCR tests prior to departure and upload a report to the Air Suvidha portal beginning January 1, 2023, according to Union Health Ministry sources.
