Digital Desk: The BCCI on Monday announced Team India's squad for the T20I series against Ireland. Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah has returned from a long injury layoff. He will lead the Indian squad in the three-match Twenty20 International series against Ireland in Dublin. The three-match series is scheduled to take place from August 18 to 23.

Bumrah, who underwent back surgery in New Zealand, has been undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy for a while now, and the pace spearhead recently bowled his full quota of 10 overs against a visiting Mumbai side here at the Alur grounds.

Prasidh Krishna of Karnataka has also been chosen for the squad by the selectors. The right-arm quick last played for India in an ODI against Zimbabwe in August of last year before undergoing stress fracture surgery. Ruturaj Gaikwad has been appointed as the team's vice-captain.
