Digital Desk: Jaya Bhardwaj, the wife of Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar, was duped out of Rs 10 lakhs under the guise of a business venture. The cricketer's father, Lokendra Chahar, has filed a complaint with the Hari Parvat police station in Agra.

Dhruv and Kamlesh Pareek, both from Hyderabad, are said to be the primary suspects in the incident. One of the defendants was a former official with the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA).

The two accused allegedly fled with ten lakh rupees on October 7, 2022. The duo has yet to return any of the funds, according to the First Information Report (FIR). Furthermore, when asked to return the money, the accused allegedly verbally abused Chahar's family and threatened them.
