Jhulan Goswami returned with a 2-30 spell and went on to dismiss Alice Capsey and Kate Cross in her final match.

Digital Desk: The third and final One-Day International (ODI) between India and England may have ended in controversy as all-rounder Deepti Sharma ran-out Charlotte Dean at the non-end striker's after she was backing up too far ahead before the ball was ready to be released. The discussion over this method of dismissal has engulfed the cricket community.

However, it is crucial to remember that this was Jhulan Goswami's final international game, and she did so in style. Team India completed a series sweep after defeating England by 16 runs in the last ODI.

In her final match, Jhulan returned with a spell of 2-30 and went on to dismiss Alice Capsey and Kate Cross. The most of any bowler in women's ODIs, she finished her career with 355 wickets, including 255 from ODIs.

Kate Cross was defeated by a delivery by Jhulan that was a complete jaffa. A large inswinger that descended the slope and beat Cross through the space between the bat and pads, past the inside edge, and into the leg stump.

Her final international over resulted in a wicket maiden.

Goswami celebrated by raising her arms high above her shoulders.

Charlie Dean  at 65/7 came out to bat as  England's player , chasing 170, and put on a 38-run stand with skipper Amy Jones. Even after Jones was ousted, Dean remained, and even though Kate Cross lost to the retiring Jhulan Goswami, she kept England's hopes alive.

However, Deepti's run-out meant that India awarded Jhulan Goswami a victorious farewell match as well as a historic series sweep.
